The person behind your books
I started Cherry Consulting in 2026 to give small businesses the kind of bookkeeping help that big companies take for granted, minus the intimidation. I’m an Accounting Technician with a National Diploma in Financial Accounting from ICB, I run my practice on QuickBooks Online, and I’m just as comfortable working in Sage Evolution or Sage Intacct if that’s what your business already uses.

Things people usually ask
Do my books need to be organised before I contact you?
Not at all. Most people come to us because things are behind or messy. Bring what you have, even if it’s a bag of slips and a banking app, and we’ll take it from there.
I’m a very small business. Is this for me?
Yes. We work with salons, caterers, event businesses, shops and other small businesses. If you have money coming in and going out, tidy books will help you.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many transactions you have and what you need. After the free chat you’ll get a clear quote, so there are no surprises.
Do we have to meet in person?
Not at all. The work happens online, by phone, email and video call, so we can help businesses anywhere in South Africa. If you’d prefer to meet face to face, just let us know and we’ll arrange it.
Which accounting software do you use?
We run on QuickBooks Online. If you already use QuickBooks or Sage, there’s no need to switch: just give us access and we’ll work in your existing setup. If you don’t use anything yet, we’ll help you get set up.
Can you help if I’m already in trouble with SARS?
Yes. We’ll help you understand what SARS is asking for, get your records in order and catch up on outstanding returns, working with a registered tax practitioner where formal representations are needed.
